What are the benefits to become a VAM member?

VAM members will be entitled to all benefits and privileges of our association.

VAM members can participate in activities and special seminar sessions organized by VAM at reduced fees.

Eligibility – Who can apply?

Ordinary membership is opened to veterinarians reside in Malaysia.

The subscription fee for ordinary membership is RM50/year.

How do I submit the filled membership form?

Please download VAM Membership Application Form, fill it and send over together with the payment (check) to VAM Honorary Secretary at the following address:

Your application will be discussed in the VAM Exco meeting for approval and endorsement.

How do I make the payment?

Please send us a cheque or online payment or money/postal order together with the filled form.
The payee is:     VETERINARY ASSOCIATION MALAYSIA.
At the rear side of the cheque please write the following info:

Can I make pay it with credit card/online payment?

We will advise when our e-payment system is online. At this moment only payment by online payment or cheque or money/postal order is acceptable. Online payment is acceptable provided the scan copy of remittance receipt is send to secretary with name and payment period written on the receipt.

How long should I wait for a response after submitting the membership application form?

Please allow at least 14 working days to receive a response from us.
If it is an urgent case, please contact any of the VAM committee for clarification.

Note for New Member

One month is the normal cycle of VAM EXCO Meeting in which all new applications are presented, discussed, approved, seconded and endorsed. The Hon Sec should be able to send the receipt and the starter kit materials as stated above quickly provided everything is in order. Otherwise, a letter or an email will be sent to inform the applicant of their application status and whatever further action or document required.
